When it comes to hobbies, I may be lacking. I would consider most of my activities to be more on the pastime end of the spectrum. I can read and study for hours and hours. I love to read Scripture, and also prepare for Bible studies and Sunday School lessons. I also have been reading a lot about business, accounting, and data analysis lately. I am in the process of keeping options open for a possible new venture. God will know what will come of it.
My next pastime would be listening to music. I do not have a wide variety of musical interests… Most of what I listen to is Twenty One Pilots. Although, they have enough variety in each album to make up for my lack of listening to a variety of artists. They have been my favorite artist since 2016, and I could go down a whole another rabbit hole explaining how much their lyrics resonate with me, it has a calming effect.
Lastly, I love the mountains, hence the name of my website Mountain Waffles. I live in NC, and the recent calamity that they have undergone is heartbreaking. One of the first things that pops into my mind if I happen to have a free day with no responsibilities (which believe me, are few and far between) would be to take a drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and perhaps take a short hike. I am not sure how long it will be before that again becomes a possibility. More importantly though, is I cannot fathom the difficulties the locals are enduring, and well, I could keep going on with challenge after challenge that they are facing.
